You will analyze, weigh, and sort metals, ensuring efficient operations through attention to detail and excellent customer service. This position suits individuals who are mechanically inclined and capable of maintaining safety practices while working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze incoming non-ferrous metals and provide assistance
• Weigh and assess metals accurately based on type and grade
• Sort and segregate materials for effective transport solutions
• Dismantle various scrap materials for valuable extraction
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area
Requirements:
• Must be mechanically inclined with safety knowledge
• Communicate effectively and professionally
• Willing to work outdoors in all conditions
• Experience with forklifts or skid steers is a plus
• Previous experience in a high-volume scrap yard is ideal
