Position: Temporary Full Time Registered Nurse at Oak
Join Oak Terrace in Orillia, ON as a Temporary Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) focused on evening shifts. Provide essential care, oversee staff, and ensure comprehensive resident evaluations.
This full-time RN position covers a maternity leave for one year in the evenings from 3pm to 11pm. You will ensure that resident care adheres to established nursing standards and assist in nursing assessments.

Your role involves planning and supervising nursing staff while also training new personnel, ensuring optimal resident health during your shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide resident care following nursing principles and physicians’ orders

• Assist in resident assessments and care plan evaluations

• Supervise and evaluate nursing and personal care staff

• Prepare the facility for RAI MDS requirements

• Lead operations in the absence of the Director of Care
Requirements:

• Current competence certificate from College of Nurses of Ontario

• Eligible for registration with Registered Nurses Association of Ontario

• Previous managerial experience in long-term care preferred

• Knowledge of nursing practices and Infection Control

• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
