Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in accordance with best practices

• Maintain accurate documentation for patient care

• Collaborate with medical teams for patient support

• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and protocols

• Train and educate nursing students, when applicable

Requirements:

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives

• Completion of a post-diploma course in psychiatric nursing

• Knowledge of DSM IV standards

• Effective communication and organizational skills

• Ability to perform physical aspects of nursing care
