Nurse Practitioner

Position: Full-Time Nurse Practitioner
Join Northern Health’s team as a full-time Nurse Practitioner in Terrace. This role allows you to provide longitudinal primary care, supported by a collaborative clinic environment.

The Nurse Practitioner position focuses on delivering primary care to patients of all ages within a supportive, community-based health unit. Integrated into a well-supported team, you will use C-MOIS EMR for clinical documentation and coordinate care effectively. Engage in quality improvement initiatives and work with health professionals to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide longitudinal primary care to various patient populations

• Attach patients via the Provincial Attachment System

• Use EMR for documentation and workflows

• Collaborate with public health and clinic teams

• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Eligible for registration with BC College of Nurses

• Strong experience in primary care settings

• Excellent clinical assessment skills

• Commitment to trauma-informed care

• Ability to work autonomously and with teams
