Northern Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the new Ksyen Regional Hospital. As a vital part of the interprofessional care team, you will provide person-centered care, perform assessments, and assist with crisis interventions. This role caters to patients experiencing mental health issues in various settings, including the Emergency Department and community environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake assessments and crisis interventions

• Collaborate with emergency service providers for effective patient flow

• Adapt care plans based on patient needs

• Provide input on patients awaiting transfer for further assessment

• Support comprehensive recovery-oriented care

Requirements:

• Current registration with BCCNM as a Registered Nurse

• One year of experience in mental health settings

• Proven leadership and communication skills

• Ability to perform initial client assessments

• Knowledge of technology and nursing practices
