Northern Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide essential care to neonates in the NICU. This role involves assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing care based on established standards and guidelines. Successful candidates will possess advanced neonatal training and be effective communicators, ensuring top-tier care for infants and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, planning, and evaluating interventions

• Conduct ongoing patient assessments for clinical reasoning

• Communicate effectively with families and the healthcare team

• Recognize acuity changes and intervene in emergencies

• Teach caregivers essential health topics for newborn care

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing

• Current registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives

• Advanced Neonatal clinic preparation or equivalent experience

• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification

• Basic Life Support certification
