Position: Dynamic Nursing Role at Orchard

In this vital role, you'll coordinate comprehensive resident care while adhering to the standards of Orchard Terrace. Oversee nursing staff, nurture collaborative relationships, and engage meaningfully with residents to support their health and happiness. Your compassion, leadership, and clinical skills will shine as you develop care plans and monitor patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and adjust care plans based on patient needs

• Facilitate effective communication with families and care teams

• Supervise daily activities of PSWs and RPNs

• Draft detailed documentation of nursing care

• Conduct unit rounds and assessments regularly

Requirements:

• Valid RN registration in Ontario or equivalent

• Basic CPR certification needed

• Long-term care experience preferred

• Strong written and oral communication abilities

• Must pass a vulnerable sector screening
