AgeCare South Registered Nurse

Support resident care at Age Care South Terrace as a Registered Nurse. This casual position invites experienced nurses to foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and respect in geriatric care.

Reporting to the Director of Care, the RN is responsible for integrating nursing skills in diverse areas. You will coordinate services, document significant changes, and process care orders effectively.

Your role also includes enhancing workplace health and safeguarding resident rights through ethical nursing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on resident care across services

• Lead daily health team shift reports

• Accurately document resident condition changes

• Process physician orders following regulations

• Report challenges to the Director of Care

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

• Background in geriatric nursing practices

• Active provincial nursing registration

• Knowledge of health and safety laws

• Understanding of nursing home standards and practices
