Engage in life-saving surgical care as a Surgical Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This role features 12-hour shifts focused on optimal patient outcomes during surgeries.
As an OR RN, you are crucial to the surgical process, including preparing the OR, assisting the surgical team, and ensuring a sterile environment. You'll evaluate patient needs, monitor their well-being, and actively participate in all surgical procedures while adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing and maintaining the operating room
• Support surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgery
• Monitor patient wellness throughout all surgical stages
• Ensure compliance with sterile and safety standards
• Accurately document nursing interventions and patient data
Requirements:
• Valid RN license required
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing necessary
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required
• 1-2 years OR or perioperative experience preferred
• Mastery of surgical protocols and instruments
Excel in surgical nursing and contribute to patient safety as an Operating Room RN.
