As a Social Development Coordinator, you will report to the Corporate Officer and work across departments to enhance community welfare.
Your role involves developing policies focused on Council priorities and coordinating strategic partnerships. You will also oversee the implementation of the Social Development Framework, addressing areas like inclusion, safety, and poverty reduction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate implementation of the Social Development Framework
• Create an advisory committee for diverse community input
• Establish strong community and organizational partnerships
• Conduct technical research and present findings effectively
• Manage budgets and secure needed funding for initiatives
Requirements:
• Master's degree or a bachelor's with significant experience
• At least 3-10 years in social planning or related fields
• Proven experience in project management and public engagement
• Knowledge of social determinants affecting community health
• Flexibility to work varied hours as needed
Support social development with your expertise and passion for equity in Terrace.
