Professional Class 1 Driver

Position: Professional Class 1 Driver Role
Join the team at Sunbelt Rentals as a Class 1 Driver, responsible for safely transporting equipment. Deliver exceptional customer service in various working environments and tackle physical challenges.

In this role, you will operate a flatbed or roll-back truck, delivering and picking up rental equipment across urban, suburban, and rural locations. You’ll work in tight environments, tow heavy generators, and demonstrate equipment operation to customers. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 1 vehicle to deliver rental equipment

• Drive in diverse jobsite environments including construction zones

• Tow generators and assist with crane operations

• Perform minor repairs on vehicles and equipment

• Demonstrate equipment use to customers at sites

Requirements:

• Class 1 Driver’s License with acceptable driving record

• Previous experience in heavy haul or equipment driving preferred

• Strong attitude towards safety and customer service

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and adapt to outdoor conditions
