Sr Accountant

We’re hiring a Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, and providing analysis that helps leadership understand company performance.

• Lead the monthly close process, including preparation of financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis
• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules
• Analyze financial statements for accuracy and discrepancies
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and customer accounts; support A/R collections as needed
• Prepare and file required federal, state, and local tax forms
• Generate commission reports and insurance-related financial documentation
• Support year-end audits and work directly with external auditors to ensure GAAP compliance
• Review and recommend improvements to accounting processes and controls

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• 3–5 years of public accounting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger, and cost accounting
• High proficiency with accounting systems (Quick Books, Net Suite, Sage Intacct, Salesforce, or similar preferred)
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
