This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide critical care in a fast-paced environment while working with a supportive and skilled medical staff.
As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in emergency situations. You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients, collaborating with nursing staff, and ensuring that the highest standards of medical practice are upheld. This role is integral to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services within the staffing and recruiting industry.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients in emergency situations
- Provide immediate medical care and interventions as needed
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner
- Adhere to all hospital protocols and best practices in emergency medicine
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans
- Participate in ongoing medical education and training sessions
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives within the emergency department
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency medicine
- Active medical license in the state of Indiana
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Flexible Scheduling: 12-hour day and night shifts
