Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Teacher position based in Terre Haute, IN. The Teacher will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing lesson plans that align with the Abeka academic curriculum. The role involves teaching, engaging students in meaningful educational activities, evaluating student progress, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment based on Christlike character. The Teacher will also facilitate collaboration, communication, and training to support students’ academic and personal development.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Lesson Planning and Teaching to deliver effective and engaging educational experiences.
• Proficiency in Education and Training methodologies to support student growth and development.
• Excellent Communication skills to foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Ability to create an inclusive and motivating learning environment.
• Relevant teaching certification or licensure required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
• Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
• Acitvley involved in local church is a requirement.
