Job Description SummaryResponsible for quality inspection of parts using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
Job DescriptionThe Terre Haute site consists of two facilities: component manufacturing and assembly of complex combustor and structure components engineered for commercial and military aircraft engines.
Job Qualifications- 1+ year experience with measurement instruments (height tapes, height gauges, depth gauges)
- 1+ year experience with Touch Pro applications
- High school diploma
- CMM experience
- Document applicable calibration inspection results
- Perform specific inspections and calibrations according to written instructions
- Designate appropriate inspection methods and techniques
- Troubleshoot equipment and systems problems
- Perform functional, mechanical, and visual inspection
- Verify calibration status of all measuring and test equipment, including reference material
- Understand the relevance and importance of inspection activities and how they contribute to defect‑free products
- Set up and calibrate equipment, interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications
- Establish and perform preventative maintenance procedures for inspection equipment
- Perform periodic work reviews and audits to ensure compliance with system requirements
- Interpret blueprint drawings and ensure specifications are met
- Develop consistent/logical feature labels and structured reports for data retrieval and ease of interpretation of inspection results
- Quarterly performance‑based bonus up to $1,300 per quarter (4×/year)
- 10% pay differential for 2nd/3rd shift
