The Assortment Personnel is responsible for sorting through semi-finished products and inspecting and removing any product that does not meet our finished product quality standards. The Assortment personnel takes the sorted raw materials and places them into machines or the manual process where finished variety packs or finished trays are available to ship to the final customer.

• Follows and supports all Company Safety policies and procedures
• Is responsible for the flow of material coming from the Incubation area both physically and logically
• Follows product specific instructions on packaging requirements including stacking patterns and information necessary on packaging and pallets
• Tracks effectively any defects found during the sorting process
• Ability to demonstrate minor machine error trouble shooting and machine operation.
• Communicate effectively if any issues arise in either equipment, raw materials, or product being produced
• Follow all Company required PPE and GMP’s
• Recognize, analyze, and report any product safety or product quality issues per Saturn’s food safety program
• Recognize, analyze, and report any personnel safety issues per Saturn’s safety program
• Ensure that you have the right tools and raw materials to effectively perform the production schedule as assigned
• Maintains established housekeeping standards for responsible area

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience working in a factory or production environment is a plus
• Experience working around Packaging and conveying systems is a plus

Experience using SAP is a plus but not required

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. German language speaking skills is another advantage.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and ability to apply concepts such as: fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
