Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure high‑quality products are taken care of and available for members.
  • Maintain clean shelves, proper temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lower‑quality food products.
  • Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and create appealing stock displays.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready work area.
  • Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including safety sweeps, forklift spotting, hazardous material handling, and reporting unsafe situations.
  • Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer/cooler/deli area, including handling claims and returns, zoning, stocking, setting up displays, removing damaged goods, pricing merchandise, completing required audits and paperwork, and securing fragile/high‑shrink merchandise.
  • Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services.
  • Follow company policies related to freezer/cooler area, complying with food handling policies, operating and sanitizing equipment, following cold‑chain procedures, cleaning the area (e.g., windows, mirrors, display cases), monitoring fans, drains, and doors for proper operation, and reporting issues to management.

Additional Compensation

Premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour may be paid in specific circumstances based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must successfully complete all required job trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.
