Senior Recruitment Consultant at Skyline Recruitment in Canada.I’m currently recruiting for Senior Construction Inspectors to support upcoming infrastructure projects across Ontario
, including Northern Ontario
, with several projects scheduled to start in March / April

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced inspectors with MTO, highway, road, bridge, transit, and municipal infrastructure backgrounds who want stable, long-term project work on high-impact civil programs.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $80,000 – $95,000 annually
- Approximately $38–$45/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Role Overview:
You will play a key role in ensuring quality, compliance, and safety across major civil infrastructure works, acting as the on-site representative for inspection, documentation, and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect civil infrastructure works including roads, highways, bridges, watermain, sewer, stormwater, and grading
- Ensure compliance with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and standards (municipal / MTO)
- Prepare accurate daily inspection reports and field documentation
- Verify as-built conditions and document deficiencies or deviations
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and owner representatives
- Enforce Health & Safety requirements and contract compliance (e.g., CCDC)
- Provide technical input to support quality control and inspection best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of civil construction inspection experience
- Strong exposure to MTO, highway, or major municipal infrastructure projects
- Solid understanding of Ontario standards and form contracts
- Experience with field documentation and reporting tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
