Location: Terrebonne
Elevate your engineering career with ADF Group as a Welding Engineer. This position involves crafting welding specifications, qualifying procedures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
In this role, you will prepare and monitor specific WPSs, ensuring the utmost quality in our steel engineering projects. Your expertise will support both factory operations and on-site welding activities. You will also track welder qualifications and optimize welding processes, making a significant impact on our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare welding specifications for diverse contracts
• Monitor factory parameters and control points
• Optimize welding processes by reviewing DDPs
• Conduct WPS and PQR qualifications as required
• Ensure compliance with AWS, CSA, ASME, and AISC standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or metallurgical engineering
• Experience in steel/welding estimating (asset)
• Knowledge of various welding processes (asset)
• Bilingual in French and English
• Ability to work independently with initiative
