Wage: $80.50–$100.00 per hour

Caseload Area

We are currently recruiting one part‑time/casual Physiotherapist to support an adult community caseload under secure Ministry funding with OHatHome. Services are provided hospital‑to‑home within the following areas:

  • South Simcoe
  • Georgina
  • Keswick
  • Newmarket
  • Aurora
  • Vaughan
  • Richmond Hill
  • Thornhill
  • Markham
  • North York – West
  • North York – Central

Responsibilities Include
  • Providing in‑person client assessment in a community setting based on presenting impairment, disability, or handicap, using standardized assessment tools.
  • Designing a treatment plan using evidence‑based information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise.
  • Actively engaging clients, families, and caregivers to address client‑centered goals for the requested referred client service plan.
  • Actively engaging in client/family teaching.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of the intervention, client’s response, and progress toward goal attainment.
  • Providing evidence‑based assessment and intervention using SMART goals.
Qualifications
  • Registration with COPO.
  • Excellent communication and analytic skills, with strong organizational abilities.
  • Experience providing community‑based services.
  • Excellent assessment and intervention skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Experience delegating to PTA is considered an asset.
  • ADP would be considered an asset.
  • Have access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
  • Proof of professional liability insurance.
  • Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Evening/weekend availability.
