Harnois Énergies is recruiting for a Payroll and HR Technician position in an environment that values human collaboration and innovation.

As a Payroll and HR Technician, you will support employee onboarding, maintain HR records, assist with payroll processing, and contribute to process improvements.

• Prepare for new employee arrivals (PDAs, cards, access, etc.).
• Process and create hires in the HR software.
• Follow up on missing documents and enrollments in group insurance.
• Administer the Service Recognition Program.
• Produce HR reports and documents (labour movements, employment confirmations, etc.).
• Support payroll validation and answer employee questions.
• Maintain and update employee files and participate in terminations.
• Participate in process improvements and replace the receptionist as needed.

• DEC in office automation or administration (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in the Office Suite (intermediate Excel).
• Experience with HR and payroll systems (ADP, asset).
• Strong organizational skills, rigor, and confidentiality.
• Autonomous, proactive, with good judgment.
• Fluency in French and English, both oral and written (English is required for communication with our English-speaking teams).
