Web Developer; WordPress​/Shopify

Position: Web Developer (WordPress / Shopify)
Location: Repentigny

The Run Digital, a dynamic consulting and digital agency, is seeking an experienced web developer specializing in Word Press and Shopify. Join our growing team and contribute to the movement of making commerce accessible for everyone. ✅

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create forward-thinking, responsive, and scalable front-end experiences.

Build Shopify or Word Press themes, modifying pre-existing themes based on project scope.

Work with Project Management to assess new functionality requests and support Sales in scoping new projects, when required.

Demonstrate a passion for web development and programming, with consultative and team-oriented approaches.

Adaptability to move between customer projects, understanding business needs that drive features. ?

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 2+ years of experience with Word Press, Elementor, DIVI, Word Press API & basic PHP knowledge (WP GraphQL experience is a plus).Minimum of 2+ years of experience with Shopify and proficiency in basic liquid templating language. 2+ years of experience with modern technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX. Familiarity with CSS pre-processors (Sass or Less), and frameworks such as Vue, React, Nuxt, or Next.js.

Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. Eagerness to push the boundaries of web development for impactful web experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:?

Experience in PHP and Javascript.? Experience working in a remote environment.? Positive-minded, team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.?

Experience with front-end animation libraries like GSAP, Tween, or animejs.?‍? Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or a related field.
