Location: Terrebonne
- Analyze the 3D model to meet manufacturing requirements
- Complete and validate technical information in drawings
- Extract and organize data from the model (reports, measurements, etc.)
- Resolve technical issues related to production
- Ensure data quality and integrity
- Produce and revise shop drawings and assembly details
- Prepare drawings and CNC files
- Interpret materials and manufacturing processes
- Produce the required technical documentation
- Participate in the validation of modeled components
- Contribute to manufacturing and assembly methods
- Participate in the improvement of processes and models
- Collaborate with teams (engineering, production, projects)
- Apply BIM standards and best practices
- Provide technical support to operations
- High school diploma or a vocational diploma (DEP) in industrial drafting
- 1 to 3 years of experience in 3D modeling, steel structure detailing, or a related field
- Experience with Tekla Structures (or similar software: Revit, Solid Works, Advance Steel) (ab asset )
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel)
- Excellent communication skills in French and English (spoken and written)
- Good understanding of the product development cycle (analysis, design, validation, production)
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, shop drawings, and schematics (mechanical, structural, or piping)
- Good knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes, materials, and digital manufacturing environments (CNC, DSTV files, etc.)
- Ability to design, modify, and optimize technical parts or assemblies
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a rigorous approach
- Strong prioritization skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment
- Independence, initiative, and the ability to adapt to new technologies
- Compressed workweek consisting of 4 10-hour shifts (Monday through Thursday from 11:15 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.)
