Location: Terrebonne
Qualifications – Northern Ontario Healthcare Facility
- Active registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Minimum 2 years of Obstetrics (OB) nursing experience required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- FHS (Fetal Health Surveillance) certification required
- Start Date: March 30th, 2026
- End Date: May 31st, 2026 (with possibility of extension)
- Ability to support Obstetrics, Medical-Surgical, and In-Patient units as required
- Accommodations: Provided

- Hours: 225 hours per 6-week period
- Overtime: Applicable
Registered Nurses are required to adhere to the scope of practice as defined by the College of Nurses of Ontario. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Provide nursing care to obstetrical, medical-surgical, and in-patient populations
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor maternal and fetal well-being
- Assist with labour and delivery care and support postpartum patients
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
Note: Duties may vary slightly based on facility and shift, with specific guidance provided during site orientation.
Experience- Minimum 2 years of relevant Canadian Obstetrics nursing experience required
- Experience working in labour and delivery, postpartum, and general inpatient care environments is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varying patient care needs across multiple units
- Strong clinical judgment in both obstetrical and general patient care settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail for accurate patient documentation and medication administration
