United Ag & Turf is a John Deere dealership with multiple locations across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and New Mexico serving commercial, construction, agricultural, and consumer customers. The company delivers exceptional customer experience through parts, sales, service, and transportation departments.

Purpose

Lead the location to achieve the business plan objectives, meet stakeholder expectations, and optimize profitable growth, employee development, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Execute the business plan and achieve financial performance, including sales, budgets, and cost control.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and new customers and resolve elevated customer issues.
  • Lead regular department management staff meetings and employee meetings to ensure effective communication across all departments.
  • Communicate dealership values, principles, vision, and mission at the location.
  • Collaborate with other store managers to implement best practices and consistent processes.
  • Support corporate managers in implementing changes within the location.
  • Plan and execute marketing activities and events.
  • Oversee maintenance, security, and professional appearance of the facility and property.
  • Represent the company for the sale of machinery and equipment.
  • Provide input to the hiring, development, coaching, evaluation, and effectiveness of the management team and other employees.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with key John Deere personnel.

Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in a retail environment
  • 1+ additional years experience as a parts or service manager or in a sales role (preferred)
  • Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products
  • Experience dealing with elevated customer issues
  • Ability to lead and motivate others
  • Knowledge of financial metrics, marketing, and solid understanding of sales, parts, and service operations
  • Strong analytical, business planning, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, or equivalent experience required
