They are responsible for ensuring fast, friendly customer service and helping navigate the abundance of choices Academy has to offer, in addition to impacting customer satisfaction, store profitability, and Academy’s Mission.

• Provide fast, friendly customer service and assist customers with product selection.
• Support store profitability and customer satisfaction through effective service and engagement.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Associate or Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice preferred for Asset Protection Team Member only.
• Work Experiences:
  Previous related work experience preferred; operating POS equipment and related duties may be required depending on role.
• Skills:
  
  Excellent customer service orientation; ability to connect with customers; problem solving and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills; basic math and reading comprehension; proficiency with POS equipment (Cashier Only); willingness to learn and adhere to safety and procedural guidelines.

• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• Acceptable hearing and vision to perform duties; ability to walk, reach, talk; occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing and pulling.
• Constantly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds; continuous use of hands and fingers; vision requirements as specified.
