Position SummaryHealth is everything. At CVS Health, Pharmacy Technicians provide compassionate care, manage pharmacy workstations, and support the team in filling prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately. New technicians complete a comprehensive training program and, once licensed, can progress into more advanced roles.
Required Qualifications- Compliance with state board of pharmacy requirements, including age, education, licensure/certification.
- If no minimum age is mandated, applicant must be at least 16 years old.
- If no minimum educational requirement is mandated, applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be enrolled in a high school program.

- Use math to solve problems, such as calculating a prescription’s day’s supply.

- Judge when something is wrong or likely to go wrong; recognize problems.
- Select best action among multiple options in complex situations.
- Remain upright on feet for sustained periods.
- Move by foot to accomplish tasks.
- Work primarily with fingers (picking, pinching, typing).
- Extend hands/arms in any direction.
- Bend forward at the waist.
- Stoop often, using lower extremities and back muscles.
- Communicate orally, exchanging detailed instructions accurately.
- Perceive sounds at normal speaking levels.
- Close visual acuity for tasks such as transcribing, computer use, reading, and inspecting small parts.
- Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs or exerting up to 30 lbs of force; frequent up to 10 lbs, or negligible force for moving objects.
- Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- PTCB National Certification.
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred but not required).

Part‑time - Pay Range: $18.35 – $28.35 per hour (base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary). Actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors.
