Assistant Management Accountant

Assistant Management Accountant, Tewkesbury, 6-12 month contract, £35-40K

Newly created opportunity to join a Tewkesbury based organisation delivering specialist support services to businesses across the UK.

• Assisting with monthly management accounts, including financial and commercial performance analysis
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Work with Cash, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to manage invoicing and cash processes
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and review revenue and cost data for accuracy and completeness
• Review invoices and ensure the P&L and balance sheet is accurate
• Post month-end journals and accruals to support a timely close process
• Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation
• Support audits, internal controls, analysis and projects as required

• Part Qualified Accountant (or with equivalent experience) and experience of assisting with management accounts
• Great team player who enjoys building strong working relationships
• Good Excel skills and comfortable with picking up new systems
• Proactive, keen to learn and able to think on your feet within a fast paced environment
