Business Resilience Lead

We’re working exclusively with a large, well known, well-established organisation with an amazing company culture, looking to appoint a Business Resilience Lead to strengthen and develop its resilience capability. This is a high-impact role with responsibility for ensuring the organisation is prepared to respond effectively to disruption, protect critical operations and maintain continuity across the business.

Competitive  benefits You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across multiple functions, taking ownership of the resilience framework while continuing to develop the organisation’s approach to business continuity, crisis management and recovery planning .

The Role Lead and develop the organisation’s business resilience strategy and framework Own and continually improve business continuity and recovery planning Identify critical business activities through Business Impact Assessments Develop, test and enhance incident, crisis and recovery plans Run resilience exercises and use outcomes to drive improvements Embed resilience into business change and strategic programmes Assess resilience across people, processes, systems, operations and third parties Work with senior stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate operational risks Maintain appropriate governance, documentation and resilience standards Build greater awareness and ownership of resilience across the organisation We’re looking for someone with strong experience across Business Continuity, Operational Resilience and/or Crisis Management who can take ownership of resilience within a large organisation.

This is not a IT role. The ideal candidate has to be able to partner with internal business stakeholders and crate crisis management and continuity plans. Ideally, you’ll have:
Strong Business Continuity / Business Resilience experience Experience conducting BIAs and developing recovery strategies Knowledge of recognised business continuity frameworks and standards Experience developing and improving resilience programmes Strong crisis management and incident response knowledge Experience planning and running resilience testing and exercises The ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders Experience managing multiple resilience priorities and projects A practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills The Opportunity This is an opportunity to take a high-profile role within a large, established business , with genuine ownership of the resilience agenda.
