At Moog, we design and manufacture high‑performance aircraft control systems that are critical to flight safety. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Quality Engineer to support the delivery of new and existing products into production. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering who is looking to further develop their skills within a structured, regulated aerospace environment.

What

You’ll Be Doing
  • Support the planning and delivery of quality activities across new product introduction (NPI) programmes
  • Assist with APQP and PPAP activities, including documentation and submission support
  • Work with cross‑functional teams (Design, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality) to ensure products are introduced effectively into production
  • Support the development of Process Flows, PFMEA and Control Plans
  • Investigate non‑conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities across manufacturing and assembly/test processes
  • Help ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements (e.g. AS9100, CAA, EASA)
  • Participate in internal and customer meetings where required
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in a quality, manufacturing, or engineering environment
  • Exposure to APQP, PPAP, or structured quality planning methods (experience can be developing), but a basic understanding is required.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments
  • Awareness of quality tools such as PFMEA, Control Plans, root cause analysis
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively
Desirable
  • Experience with in aerospace or other regulated industries (e.g. automotive, medical)
  • Knowledge of AS9100, IATF
    16949, or similar quality standards
  • Exposure to NPI or production support activities
  • Familiarity with problem‑solving tools (e.g. 8D, RCCA)
Who This Would Suit

  • An engineer with some exposure to APQP/PPAP looking to build deeper experience
