This role offers the chance to work within a highly regulated engineering environment, supporting both new and existing product introduction into manufacturing while developing expertise across APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and aerospace quality systems. Youll join a collaborative engineering and manufacturing team where quality is central to product safety and performance.
The Role As a Quality Engineer, you will support quality planning and manufacturing readiness activities across new product introduction (NPI) programmes and existing production lines. Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting APQP and PPAP activities across manufacturing programmes Assisting with the development of PFMEA, Process Flows and Control Plans Investigating non-conformances and supporting root cause analysis activities Working closely with Design, Manufacturing and Supplier Quality teams Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across assembly and test processes Ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards and customer requirements Participating in internal and customer quality reviews
What Were Looking For :
Were keen to speak with candidates who have experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering environments, particularly those looking to further develop in aerospace quality engineering. Suitable backgrounds may include:
Quality Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Production Quality NPI / Industrialisation Engineering Experience required:
Exposure to APQP / PPAP methodologies Understanding of manufacturing and production environments Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans and root cause analysis tools Strong communication and cross-functional working skills Desirable:
Aerospace, automotive or other regulated industry experience AS9100, IATF
