Moog Aircraft Group Tewkesbury is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in the development, qualification, and certification of advanced aerospace components used on some of the world’s most demanding military and commercial aircraft programmes.

Working within a highly capable multidisciplinary engineering team, you will lead complex technical activities from concept through to certification, helping to bring innovative products into service. What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Product Development Engineer, you will act as a technical focal point across product development programmes, providing engineering leadership throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Leading engineering activities from concept development through detailed design, validation, qualification, and certification.
  • Translating customer requirements into robust engineering solutions, compliance strategies, and validation plans.
  • Supporting the design and development of high‑performance electrohydraulic aerospace components.
  • Planning and coordinating technical activities to achieve programme objectives, schedules, and budgets.
  • Leading technical investigations and problem‑solving activities to resolve complex engineering challenges.
  • Coordinating development and qualification testing, including fatigue, vibration, thermal, pressure, and performance testing.
  • Conducting technical trade studies and design reviews to support informed engineering decisions.
  • Working closely with manufacturing, quality, test, programme management, and supply chain teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Supporting customer meetings, technical reviews, and programme presentations.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to developing engineers.
  • Supporting airworthiness and regulatory compliance activities throughout the product lifecycle.
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, or a related Engineering discipline.
