Position - HVAC Designer
Location:
Tewkesbury
Salary/Package: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, (DOE), 25 days Holiday plus banks, Company Perks, Pension & more.
Purpose of the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced HVAC Designer to join a growing construction and building services business based in Gloucestershire area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HVAC Designer with strong Revit and CAD experience to work on a range of commercial and industrial projects, developing detailed HVAC designs from concept through to construction.
You'll work in a superb team as a HVAC Designer, collaborating, sharing ideas and information where necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Produce detailed HVAC designs, layouts and technical drawings using Revit and CAD.
- Develop HVAC systems for new-build and refurbishment projects.
- Undertake and/or support heating and cooling load calculations and system sizing.
- Select appropriate HVAC equipment and components.
- Coordinate mechanical designs, structural and other M&E services.
- Produce design documentation, specifications and associated technical information.
- Review designs during construction and assist with resolving technical/site issues.
- Attend project meetings and liaise with clients, contractors and project teams.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant UK Building Regulations, CIBSE guidance and industry standards.
- Assist with the development and improvement of internal design standards and processes.
- Manage multiple projects and design deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in HVAC/Mechanical Design within the building services or construction sector.
- Strong Revit experience, ideally Revit MEP.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD/CAD.
- A strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical building services.
- Experience producing professional technical drawings and design documentation.
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors and internal teams.
