The Role – Product Process Engineer rWe are seeking an experienced Product and Process Engineering professional to join a prominent aerospace engineering business for a 6-month contract to support growth.
You will be responsible for resolving complex issues related to the design, assembly, and testing processes of production hardware, predominantly centered around hydraulics.
Duties- Writing or maintaining Assembly Instructions and Production Worksheets.
- Developing mitigation actions identified in PFMEA.
- Developing processes to increase yield and reduce risk of failure.
- Identifying tooling requirements needed in assembly and test environment.
- Analyse production data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support product and process changes.
- Collate build and performance data.
- Conduct GD&T analysis of assemblies and components for non-conforming parts.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Core experience in Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
Candidates who are currently a Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Product Support Engineer, Systems Engineer, Analysis Engineer, Hydraulic Engineer, Sustainment Engineer, Development Engineer or Design Engineer might be suitable for this position.
