Key Responsibilities- Maintain planning parameters and supplier data within business systems, including lead times and planning information.
- Convert demand requirements into purchase orders in accordance with contractual agreements and company procedures.
- Liaise with regional supplier management teams to obtain delivery commitments and provide accurate status updates.
- Coordinate site operational requirements with regional supply chain teams.
- Work closely with Goods Inwards and Receiving Inspection teams to ensure materials are delivered to the point of use when required.
- Support supplier non-conformance activities and Return to Vendor (RTV) processes.
- Resolve supply chain issues relating to delivery, quality, documentation, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing to ensure contractual terms and conditions are effectively implemented.
- Identify and elevate deviations from agreed supplier contracts and support resolution activities.
- Manage a portfolio of suppliers and parts with a higher degree of complexity and responsibility.
- Strong procurement and purchasing knowledge.
- Effective negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to analyse complex processes, procedures, and contractual requirements.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
