Our rural Gloucestershire client is experiencing a period of sustained growth and requires a Wiring Technician to join their innovative and specialised team on a full time (across 4 days) and permanent basis. You will be responsible for hands-on wiring of control panels, assembling wiring harnesses from schematics, and performing quality checks on complex electronic assemblies.

Applicants must demonstrate a strong aptitude for hands-on work and a willingness to learn new skills.

What you can expect:

* Salary: £30,000 - £35,000, depending on experience

* Working hours:

7am – 5pm, Monday to Thursday

* 26 days holiday plus bank holidays

What you will be doing:

* Responsible for wiring equipment and control panels

* Assembling wiring looms

* Installing electronic components from detailed drawings

* Conducting inspections and tests and troubleshooting issues

* Updating design documentation

* Collaborate with team members to meet demanding quality standards

* Maintain a strong focus on safety and precision

What we are looking for:

* Previous experience building wiring harnesses and looms

* Experience in assembling and wiring electronic equipment and control panels

* Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and wiring schedules accurately

* Broad knowledge of connector and cable types and electrical components

* Understanding of wiring standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620
