Despatch​/Stores Operative

Position: Despatch/Stores Operative (25hrs)
We are working with an established company who design, manufacture and supply bespoke products to support a wide range of manufacturing process instrumentation. They distribute these products to companies across the world, and they currently have a part time opportunity within dispatch and stores area based in Tewkesbury. Previous relevant experience is an advantage.

Key job role and person specification includes:

Despatch:

* Packing goods according to their specification and destination.

* Booking carrier collections and arranging required documentation for UK and International parcels.

* Monitoring stocks of packing materials.

Stock Control:

* Support of monthly component stock check.

* Support goods inwards.

* Day to day kitting where necessary.

Required Skills:

* Attention to detail and accuracy

* Administration skills and computer literacy

* Methodical working habits

* Ability to follow instructions

* Confidence to use own judgement and initiative in making inspection decisions

If you can demonstrate good timekeeping/attendance, have excellent communication skills and are keen to learn and use your initiative we would love to hear from you.

Excellent renumeration and holidays:

Pay rate £13.50 per hour (£27K pro rata)

25 hours per week (5hrs/day; 5 days/week, Monday to Friday);

24 days holiday + bank holidays
