Dimensional Inspector (CMM)

12‑month Fixed Term Contract, Onsite – Tewkesbury, G

• Perform dimensional inspection of precision aerospace components using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines)
• Develop and run CMM programmes (experience with Mitutoyo or Aberlink is essential)
• Inspect parts using a range of manual metrology equipment (micrometers, verniers, height gauges, etc.)
• Ensure all components meet aerospace quality standards and specifications
• Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T
• Accurately record and report inspection results

• Previous experience in aerospace or precision engineering inspection
• Strong background in CMM programming (Mitutoyo or Aberlink required)
• Competent in using standard inspection and metrology tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and quality focus
• Desirable: experience compiling First Article Inspection (FAI) reports (e.g. AS9102)
