HGV Class 1 Driver

Overview

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Tewkesbury area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.

• Class 1 Nights - Trunking.
• Class 1 Days - Bulk collecting.

• Mon 16th, Tue 17th, Wed 18th, Thurs 19th, Fri 020th, Mon 23rd (19:30PM start).
• Monday to Friday (Ongoing work - 15:00PM start - 01:00AM finish).

• Wed 18th, Thurs 19th, Fri 20th, Mon 23rd, Tue 24th, Wed 25th (08:00AM start).

• Days - £15.36 per hour PAYE.
• Nights - £15.36 per hour PAYE.

Job Type: Temporary/Ongoing.

• Performing trunk runs to Coventry or Ryton hub.

• Bulk collections from the Gloucester/Cheltenham areas.

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required
• No more than 6 points on a licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
