Forklift Operator

Location: Tewkesbury
Hours: Minimum 37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7 (shift rota)
Salary: 13.17 per hour
Contract: Full-time, permanent

A long-established, respected business in Tewkesbury is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join their busy chilled warehouse team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role within a supportive, close-knit environment where every team member contributes to keeping operations running smoothly.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy active, practical work, take pride in accuracy, and thrive in a team-focused warehouse setting.

• Operate forklifts safely to move, load, and unload stock

• Support warehouse operations including picking, stock rotation, and replenishment

• Maintain a clean, organised workspace and follow all safety procedures

• Conduct daily equipment checks and report any issues promptly

• Work efficiently to meet operational targets while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy

• Assist colleagues with general warehouse duties as required

• Valid Forklift Truck licence (Counterbalance or Reach)

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment

• Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills

• Positive, reliable, and proactive approach to work

• Flexible and able to work shift patterns to meet operational needs

• Awareness of Health & Safety in a warehouse setting

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience working in a chilled warehouse or food production environment

• Competitive hourly rate of 13.17
