You’ll play a pivotal role in integrating, testing, and securing a range of systems and applications, with a strong focus on designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure.

As an Infrastructure Engineer within our Integration & Test team, you’ll be at the forefront of driving innovation and safeguarding digital infrastructures by ensuring robust, high‑performance systems that support our mission‑critical solutions.

You’ll need to have an understanding of Windows and Linux systems and Dev Sec Ops  principles and experience of working within a multi‑disciplined team.

Knowledge and understanding of core software tools, methods, and frameworks to reliably integrate and deploy, integrate, and test features into environments to ensure optimum outcomes for our customers.

Additionally, we’re looking for candidates with hands‑on experience in infrastructure engineering, including expertise in areas such as cloud architecture, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure‑as‑code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and system performance optimization to support seamless integration and testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, and execute software test and integration plans, ensuring compliance with specifications, while leveraging infrastructure engineering best practices to maintain system reliability and scalability.
  • Develop scripts and integrate automated testing frameworks within CI/CD pipelines and a wider ecosystem of tools, incorporating infrastructure automation to streamline deployments.
  • Debug and identify defects in the whole stack, from front‑end to back‑end databases and middleware, with a focus on resolving infrastructure‑related bottlenecks and issues.
  • Integration and delivery of large and complex solutions into a wider system‑of‑systems, ensuring infrastructure components are robust and interoperable.
  • Deployment in Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud environments, addressing potential constraints while optimizing infrastructure performance and security.

Required skills, qualifications and experience
  • Demonstrable experience in the field of Test and Integration.
  • The ability to work within an agile environment and delivering using Scrum and Sprints utilising tools such as Jira and Confluence to help planning and collaboration.
  • Experience working with Agile and Dev Sec Ops  software delivery.
  • Experience of Agile Development using SCRUM.
  • Experience planning, developing and executing test plans
  • Experience in developing strategies supporting formal product sell off
  • Experience in automated testing in the software domain
  • Experience with Commercial and Open Source automated testing frameworks
