• Support development or production for programs throughout the product life cycle.
• Factory and supplier support for RF Downlink.
• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Technical management of both engineering disciplines and suppliers.
• Some travel to integration sites, plus customer and subcontractor facilities may be required.

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five years of prior relevant experience to include any combination of the following:
• Experience with power electronics, control systems, signal processing and/or RF/microwave.
• Experience with circuit design, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with defense industry standards.
• Experience with in factory support, supplier support.
• Experience with production processes and manufacturing techniques for defense systems. Including obsolescence mitigation, support to component suppliers, plan and execution of application validation tests, support to major component 2nd source activities.
• Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition and analytical tools such as Matlab.

• Familiarity with missile communication transceivers and data links, inertial measurement units (IMU) and Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver subsystems.

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements, including export control and ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
• Strong academic background that includes courses in Microwave Engineering, Microwave Systems, Electromagnetic Theory and Radar Systems.
• Strong hands on experience with microwave testing techniques, including using spectrum analyzers, Real-time Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) and Performance Network Analyzer (PNAs).
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering OR PhD degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
