Systems Engineer I – SETC – Onsite – Tewksbury, MA
Join the Raytheon team in Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC), supporting Integration, Verification, and Flight & Ground Test for an advanced Missile Defense Radar System. This role is located in Tewksbury, MA, with occasional travel to other Raytheon facilities in MA and southern New Hampshire. Up to 10% additional travel may be required for test events.

Security Clearance: Secret (current) – U.S. citizenship required.
What You Will Do- Operate our systems and related simulators/stimulators.
- Identify and resolve issues and anomalies through debugging, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
- Integrate hardware or software into a tactical system, and evaluate the functionality and impact of these changes.
- Develop documentation, execute plans and procedures, process and analyze data, and communicate results.
- Communicate with internal and/or external stakeholders.
- Travel to support mission execution at applicable facilities, test sites, vendors, and/or customer locations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and less than 2 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance, with U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience with radar systems, weapons systems, or command and control systems.
- Experience with data analysis, including application of scripting or automation using tools such as MATLAB, Python, DOORS, etc.
- Proficiency with commonly used test equipment: oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.
- Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, networks, and communication protocols.
- Exposure to concepts of radar operations and/or coursework in digital signal processing, algorithm development, electromagnetism, electronics, etc.
