The Radar Digital Products Department in the Hardware Engineering Directorate at Raytheon is seeking an Electrical Engineer with strong Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) verification skills to join our team. The individual is expected to work in a team environment, on various projects and receive direction from his/her lead. The individual will be required to provide development support throughout product lifecycle, from initial concept to acceptance delivery to maintenance.

What You Will Do
* Work as part of a highly motivated team

* Collaborate with cross-functional project teams making up a larger program or internal research and development effort.

* Verify FPGA interfaces, controls and/or signal processing designs.
This position is onsite in Tewksbury, MA or Marlborough, MA Qualifications You Must Have
* Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience

* Experience with FPGAs and/or ASICs using UVMF, UVM and/or OVM
* Experience in at least 3 of the following:
* Experience in Xilinx or Intel programmable devices

* Experience with VHDL/System Verilog simulation tools, Questa Sim or NCSim

* Experience using synthesis tool Synplify

* Experience with back-end tools such as Xilinx Vivado, and/or Intel Quartus

* Experience in hardware integration, CCA/PCB design, FPGA design or embedded software

* Experience with Mentor Graphics UVMF based test benches

* Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. Qualifications We Prefer
* Experience with hardware interface and data protocols such as gigabit ethernet, JESD, RS-422, USB, PCIe, etc.

* Working knowledge and experience with configuration management tools such as Synergy, Clearcase, or git

* Experience in high speed interfaces such as SRIO, Aurora

Experience with Timing Closure and utilizing Chipscope

* Working knowledge in the integration of software drivers for the operation of computer hardware interfaces a plus

* Working knowledge of linux, C/C++ and/or in computer scripting language such as Shell/Perl/Python

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
