Job Summary:

The Engineering Finance Team is looking for a highly motivated Finance Principal Specialist to support the Raytheon IRAD Team. This role will provide financial planning, analysis and oversight of the Raytheon Engineering IRAD Multi-million dollar portfolio. Primary responsibilities will include working with project managers and key stakeholders to identify and accurately forecast Engineering IRAD efforts that span all SBUs/Mission Areas/Directorates. Other responsibilities include financial forecasting, providing variance analysis, validating financial accuracy and trends, preparation of financial reporting, and support of tactical and strategic meetings with business leadership.

Working with the Engineering Execution Lead, the individual will help lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Plan (LRP) preparation and presentation. In addition, this position requires wide-ranging financial support and analysis across Engineering, FP&A and the SBUs regarding project health & prioritization, manpower forecasting, process improvement and overall management of business-related tasks. This role also includes APEX EVMS reporting for projects that meet internal policy thresholds.

The successful candidate will partner with the Engineering Execution Lead, Project Leads, and FP&A leads to ensure that the team is aligned, accountable and compliant throughout the IRAD process. This role is a P3 Principal FP&A Specialist and will report to the Engineering IRAD Business Manager.
