Raytheon invites applications for a Systems Administrator – focused on Windows operating systems – to support critical, classified programs. The position is fully onsite at the Tewksbury, MA facility.

Position Type: Onsite, Full‑time

Security Clearance: Active U.S. Secret clearance required before employment; U.S. citizenship mandatory.

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Work as a team member in a fast‑paced technological environment.
• Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope, including integration of hardware and operating systems.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
• Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures.
• Obtain DoDD 8140/8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months of start date.
• Support 24×7 operations; occasional after‑hours work may be required.
• Travel up to 5% of the year to other U.S. domestic sites.
• Fully onsite.

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Active U.S. Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with installation, configuration, and administration of Windows operating systems.
• Experience documenting technical problems and solutions.

• DoDD 8140/8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) and an operating system certification.
• Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Zero Clients, data storage (NAS, SAN) technologies.
• Experience with IT project lifecycle management.
• Experience with VMware vCenter, vSphere, ESX and/or other virtualization.
• Support for engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
• Experience with Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, Exchange.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (bash, VBScript, Power Shell, Python, Ansible).

Competitive salary range $66,000 – $130,000. Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and additional incentives based on role level.
