Sr Dev Sec Ops (DSO) Engineer – Raytheon Technologies
Position:
Onsite, Tewksbury, Massachusetts. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance are required.
Work on an agile team responsible for developing and delivering software for one of the MDS Department’s programs. Specific responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and test software in an agile, collaborative environment.
- Debug existing software and correct defects.
- Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of COTS in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
- Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software build process standards.
- STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in software build deployments, containerization (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform).
- Experience developing software in a team-based environment using Agile Scrum or Kanban.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government issued Interim Secret security clearance prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience with agile management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Experience with Dev Sec Ops tools and platforms (Docker, Ansible Tower, Artifactory, Git Hub/Bit Bucket).
- Proven experience leading an engineering team, preferably using the Agile Scrum or Kanban framework.
- Proven ability to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex user requirements.
- Well-developed communication, technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Exposure to radar software development and/or radar concepts.
- Proven experience with current Missile defense programs with specific experience in large, complex systems.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with time‑critical requirements.
- Experience contributing in a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to technical problems.
- Ability to prioritize and make data‑driven decisions.
- Ability to promote a culture of continuous learning, cross‑team collaboration and training.
- Excellent communication, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills.
