Part-Time Faculty-Math

The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope-Texarkana (UACCHT) is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member in the Mathematics department.

• Provide instruction in accordance with the stated philosophy and objectives of the College and in accordance with the established and approved syllabus and student learning outcomes for each course taught.
• Assess student learning and use this assessment to improve instruction.
• Acquaint all students with course requirements and provide periodic evaluations of progress.
• Meet classes as scheduled, follow course syllabi, and attend meetings as requested.
• Prepare thoroughly for each class period and display professional mannerisms.
• Provide time for out-of-class student consultation and maintain accurate records.
• Submit final course grades and complete end-of-course assessment forms.

• Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the specific discipline to be taught.
• Teaching experience is preferred.

Classes to be taught may be day, night, Saturday, or online courses at the Hope and Texarkana Campuses. Position will be filled based on enrollment needs.
