Quality Engineer
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing process and product quality by learning and applying Goodyear standards and procedures to solve problems. The incumbent will apply standard tools to improve customer satisfaction and process capability.
What You’ll Do- Improve and enhance technical solutions to meet product requirements.
- Work on cross-functional teams to develop new technology. Avoid inappropriate level of risk.
- Make improvements or enhancements to current processes within functional group.
- Demonstrate ability to present technical ideas to others across teams.
- Drive new product concepts, processes, and technologies leading to innovations.
- Recognize and identify problems. Improve and enhance problem solving strategies.
- Improve and enhance project management tools and standards of execution for assigned projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Science/Technology/Engineering/Math. Due to legal requirements Latin America candidates must possess Engineering Degree.
- 2 or more years' experience required.
- Experience or certifications in the application of Quality control systems, problem solving and project management tools is desired.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude.
- Actively contribute in meetings.
- Provide compelling technical direction and logical conclusions within function.
- Volunteer for, or willingly accept, tasks assigned.
- Take personal responsibility for team performance.
- Influence others to see alternative points of view.
- Assemble strategies to achieve assigned work.
