Our apartment community in Texarkana, AR, is seeking a dedicated and professional Courtesy Officer to ensure rules and regulations are followed, and our residents feel safe and secure. • Walk the grounds and check all common buildings and amenities, including the Clubhouse, pool, and playground areas, at least twice per night between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., seven nights a week
• Monitor and identify suspicious activity, reporting it immediately to local authorities and the Community Director
• Provide extra patrol on holidays such as the Fourth of July and New Year's Eve, and as needed
• Note areas of poor lighting or malfunctioning security lights and report them to the Community Director
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and inform them of your presence on the property
• Submit a weekly written report/log of all activities encountered to the Community Director
• Avoid apprehending or attempting a citizen's arrest unless necessary to protect someone from immediate danger

• Must be a licensed law enforcement officer in the same city or municipality as the property
• Police academy training or related law enforcement training required
• Required to live on the property (apartment included)
